New LG G2 Mini?!

Earlier this month, we passed along information about a rumored LG G2 mini. Considering that almost every flagship Android phone has a smaller "mini" model these days, the report certainly had a ring of truth about it.  On Saturday, a published report revealed that an unknown LG handset, the LG-D410, had been pushed through the GFX benchmark site. This could be the LG G2 mini.

According to the GFX site, the LG D-410 features a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8226 CPU under the hood. The screen offers a resolution of 540 x 960 (qHD) and while the early rumors had pointed to a 4.7 inch screen, a smaller panel (say 4.3 inches) seems likely. And yes, Android 4.4 is pre-installed. Clearly, this will not be the powerhouse that the LG G2 is.

There is no guarantee that this new device is the LG G2 mini, but whatever it is, we just might get a glimpse of it at CES next month.
